Women Cyclists – Not Just a Slogan

City Cycling Club successfully promotes and strengthens women in the sport of cycling, from young children and youths in cycling enrichment classes to the highest competitive level.

City Cycling Club has an amateur women’s cycling team in the northern Sharon branch, whose common denominator is social gathering, a love of cycling, and enjoyable physical activity which is non-competitive and for pleasure only.

Enrichment Classes
In the framework of the enrichment classes which the club holds in all of its branches throughout Israel, some children and youths are integrated very successfully into mixed cycling teams, and are on a par with their male peers.

Elite Women
The spearhead of the club’s women are those who cycle competitively in the elite category, which is the highest competitive level.
City Cycling Club’s elite cyclist team includes Inbar Ronen, the first woman in Israeli cycling and the Israeli champion for the last four years; Bonnie Eshel, the illustrious road cyclist and four-time Israeli champion; Keren Eckstein, Israeli championship runner-up; Idith Shoov (sorry… Dr. Idith Shoov); and Naomi Hill; who all, to our delight, stand on the podium in every competition.

City Cycling Club invites you to join us and be part of the club’s quality cycling community.
Cyclists from 9 years and over are invited to join a trial cycle at one of our branches close to your home to taste the thrill of cycling.
